PatrickZ 300 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Sounds like the installation is missing some files. You can always try reinstalling, it never hurts to do so. Where are you sliders in the FSX Display -> Scenery settings? 3. What performance do you generally have in FSX at complex airports with traffic? 4. Do you have the HIGHMEMFIX=1 entry in the [GRAPHICS] section of your fsx.cfg (if no, please add it)? 5. Trying to reinstal again please disable your antivirus for both downloading and installing the scenery (also remember to install as admin!). 6. Clean install on SSD, W7-64 and FSX on other SSD, PMDG T7 and finally Airport EHAM that's all, no Office or PDF reader, everything original. So no tweaks on cfg scenery settings : detail radius = large, mesh complexity=60, Mesh resolution=1m, Texture resolution=7cm, Water effects=mid2.x, scenery complexity Sparse, also Autogen , Special effects = Medium =Sparse Normally good performance with airports. changed CFG, HIGHMEMFIX=1, TEXTURE MAXLOAD=2048, wideviewAspect=TRUE Specs, AMD Phenom X6 at 2.8ghz, HD5700, 8GB RAM, 2 X SSD ( OS and FSX ) Gonna reinstall now, THX in advanced, talk to you later.
