Finn 873 Posted August 16, 2013 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Here is one of the sources we have used for simulating the PT6-27 and later -20 engine used in the Twin Otter. Note that the simulation is for the PT6-42, so figures cannot be taken directly. Also select "SELKIRK PROGRAMMING" and enable the condition levers and set them to Low idle (The Twin Otter only has the Low idle setting). http://selair.selkirk.bc.ca/training/systems/Alsim%20engine%20operation.html Other sources are offcourse performance charts from which we have derived figures for the impact on engine performance using inertial seperator and inlet de-icers as well as other items affecting the engines.
