I decided only to post the highlight shots during this phase (I imagine it will still be a lot  )

Here's from the first 2 legs (actually both taken during leg 2).

Leg 3 - man that was a long flight. Got started, set the auto pilot, had breakfast, read some newspaper, cleaned the bathroom, cleared the bedroom and was ready way in time for the approach.

Passed over some thunderstorms along the way:

Approaching Aspen - not the best approach I have to admit

Thanks for looking!

Leg 4 - Sorry for posting so many shots, but the views were just too great ;)

First view of the green River

Canyonlands National Park. It was hard to recist diving down into the canyons, but Mr. Smith put on his disapproving face :P

Flying on accross the high flats of Utah, passing San Rafael Reef.

This formation is called the Wedge.

A nice view of Ford Ridge.

Passing Lake Utah with the town of Springville in the foreground.

Finally approaching Salt Lake City.

What an enjoyable flight :)

Thanks for looking!

Next Leg - Salt Lake City to Las Vegas. I took a little detour to fly over some of the national parks in Utah. ;)

...but then I almost got blown off the runway by the crosswind when I flared :(

Mr. Smith counted this as off the runway and I only got 20something points for the landing. Guess I will not be running for the top points in this phase :P - but having a great time anyway :)

Thanks for looking!

Off for the next leg.

Leaving Las Vegas in the early morining. After getting very drunk, married and divorced within 2 days, Mrs. Smith was still in a deep coma. Maybe this is why I got away with a few minor mistakes during take off. ;)

Watching the sun rise - time for a coffee.

By the time we landed Mr. Smith was awake though. Being completely hung over and grumpy, he gave me a very low landing score again. :P
