How I did mine:

Installed the purchased package 1.07, then downloaded 1.08 and 1.09, Extracted 1.08 and then manually copied the files to "your fsx directory"\aerosoft\andrasfield

The repeated the process for 1.09.

Hope that help, or even makes sense?

Regards

Matt

They're indeed not self-installing.

However, they're very easy to install, thanks to their folder structure!

when you download the zip file, just drop the contents (the Aerosoft folder you see first) in your FSX root directory.

click yes when asked to overwrite, and you're good to go.

The way Matt says is basically the same, but he goes further into the zip file first.

  • 2 weeks later...

for us fsx thickies...does that mean you Have to extract the files from the zip, or can you copy and paste them into fsx...also do the files go into the add on scenery folder in fsx?

you can either extract first, and then copy paste, or just copy from the zip directly to the fsx root directory, makes no difference at all.

The files do NOT go in the addon scenery folder.

just drop them in the FSX root folder, and they should end up in the right place (Aerosoft/Andras Field/...)

click yes when asked to overwrite...
