It makes development so much easier if you can feel and see how the real thing looks like. horst18519 231 Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 I see there are some insiders reading in this topic. The main problem at the moment is to acquire data and photographs of the airports. Iceland is quite some miles away from Germany and a visit that has been planned is not very likely anymore at the moment (for several reasons), at least not before autumn. So if we would be assisted from natives who might be able to provide good photographs of the airports a release before winter might not be unlikely.A lot of "ifs" and "mights" as you can see, but the project has definitely high priority, so don't be frustrated. Still, it's an incredible big country, and to get the colors right is a pita in FSX (let alone FS9, but that's one thing I won't have to worry about). I live about 2 hours drive from BIKF, and have a good camera but no access to a plane to take aereal photos. So I could only take pictures from the ground. Aerosoft needs to own a U2 spyplane Golli.
