Brian Sommers 0
I turned on all the de-ice and anti-ice and pitot heat and bleed air. I can’t seem to melt the ice on the windshield. The manual mentions a windshield heater but where do you turn that on?
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 20, 2022 Aerosoft Share Posted January 20, 2022 At this moment the icing model of the sim is way overdone (check the long topic on that on the MSFS forum). The only way to get out of that situation (seems to occur only at the highest level of icing) you can use the option in the Dev mode. Keep in mind to have the icing systems on BEFORE you fly into known icing conditions. Most of the time that will keep the ice at bay or at least under control.
