jeremy betteridge 1
Hi something has happened to mess up ENGM and the bridges have all gone to be replaced by Red X's. I've been to a previous thread for the same problem in P3D and gone through the fix but it hasn't made any difference. I've also started again with a reinstall of ENGM etc, no difference, so repeated the previous fix - same problem remains. I'm using Mega Airport Oslo2 V113 in FSX:Steam. GSX also installed. Latest version of SODE also installed. The Oslo Jetway Configurator says that the SODE folder found. Not sure what to do now! Help would be welcome, thank you. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted August 24, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 24, 2021 Is FSX:SE registred in the Sode Plattform Manager? And according to my shop account, latest version of ENGM is 1.1.
jeremy betteridge 1
For some reason I can't seem to get the 1.1.4 version. Not sure how to get it. Yes. FSX:SE is registered and activated on the SODE Platform Manager.

Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 17, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 17, 2021 Hi, did you try to update via https://support.aerosoft.com/pages/login ?
jeremy betteridge 1
I tried, but the download link foesn't seem to do anything. It offers an address at the bottom of the page but the download doesn't actually start
Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 18, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 18, 2021 Hi @jeremy betteridge, could you provide a screenshot of that? I'm not aware of any issues with the update database.
jeremy betteridge 1
Yes here they are Jonas. The first is the screen showing the list of sceneries etc with Oslo V2 showing. The second is pressing the download button which shows an address at the bottom of the screen, but nothing downloads.
Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 18, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 18, 2021 Hi @jeremy betteridge, i had to remove your screenshots since they showed your serial number. May I ask you to either open a ticket at https://helpdesk.aerosoft.com/portal/en/home or upload a "censored" screenshot of your update database? jeremy betteridge 1
I didn't think of that! Thank you. I'll try to censor them and re-post.

Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 18, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 18, 2021 I assume a left click on download does not work? What about a right click on "download" and then "open in new tab"?
jeremy betteridge 1
I tried both - no results for either. Left click on the tab just makes the screen flash and shows the address at the bottom. Right click to open in new tab gives a blank screen. As background, something must have worked previously to be able to upgrade from the boxed version to V1.1.3, but I can't remember how I did that I'm afraid. Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 18, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 18, 2021 Can you try to upgrade using the incognito mode of your browser? It might be, that some adblockers or stuff block certain functionalities.

Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 18, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 18, 2021 Hi @jeremy betteridge, I can only think of using another browser. Right now I could not recreate your issue, in case a different browser does not help, let me know and I will get back to you on Monday, unfortunately earlier will not be possible. jeremy betteridge 1
Hi Jonas That's fine. Thank you for your help so far. I'll try another browser now and leave a message here with the result. In doing all of this, do you think that V1.1.4 will fix the RedX problem?! I hope so. Thanks again Jerry
Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 18, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 18, 2021 I just saw that you use FSX:SE, according to the changelog the latest update was only for the P3D Version. Have you had the time to check the SODE log files? I'm rather certain that these Xs are the result of missing SODE files. The log will be able to tell you which files the program is looking for. jeremy betteridge 1
I've just managed to do the download and it's version 1.1.3 - you are right. I'm not sure which SODE file to download?

Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted September 18, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 18, 2021 Once you started your simulator and experienced the red Xs, SODE should have generated a log file (https://sode.12bpilot.ch/?document=filefolder-setup/module-folder), this log file could help us determine which files are missing in order to get rid of the Xs. Did you move anything there lately? Right now SODE (at least the log says so) does not find a single xml file, which means you should not have SODE at any airport.
