JRBarrett 675
The display is correct. It is showing you the first upcoming waypoint in your flight plan that has a specific crossing altitude constraint. It is also telling you that your current altitude is higher than the constraint, so at some point, you are going to have to do a DESCENT In your example, it is telling you that the next waypoint with an altitude constraint is LIPTE, and the specific constraint is “at or above 6000 feet”, and that the waypoint is (at the moment) 237 NM and 43 minutes flying time from your current position. Based on your current altitude, a TOD marker should appear on your display well before LIPTE where you will begin the actual descent. If you are climbing, and there is an upcoming waypoint that is higher than your current altitude it will show with a CLIMB annotation on the display.
