This patch updates the taxiways to the current layout and adds the new firestation. Full changelog: Added new firestation. Reworked ground markings to match current layout. Adjsted AFCAD parkings and taxiway paths. Reworked taxiway, runway embedded lighting models. Changed some of the service vehicle textures. Changed taxisigns to current layout. Fixed terrain glitch on the southeast apron. Various airbrushing on ground ortho. Added new solar farms north of runway.

Hello A340-600 Captains, first of all, we want to say a huge thank you to all of you! We truly appreciate the incredible amount of positive and constructive feedback, as well as the many great conversations we had with you in person during the Flightsim Weekend in Lelystad at the Aerosoft Flight booth. It means a lot to us and helps shape the future of this project. Today marks the release of the first update of many to come. This is just the beginning of our ongoing improvements and refinements. 🔧 What’s coming next? We are already working on further updates, including a remodelling of the wing and parts of the fuselage to enhance overall accuracy and visual quality. 📋 Changelog You’ll find the full changelog for today’s update listed below. - Fixed missing packs sound with opened doors - Added missing rain sounds - Updated flap, cabin and ground roll sounds - Some improvements to the waypoint skipping feature - On go around, only the final is restrung into the flight plan - Bug fixes to the pilot data functions, including the pilot route saving - Made the in-flight wingflex less jittery - Drag and fuel flow improvements at cruise altitude - Fixed an issue that could lead to the inability to load new charts in the EFB - Accelerated the situation load - Added interfacing with the "rudder left" and "rudder right" axis. - Fixed an issue which could cause the built-in pushback to behave erratically. - Made door 2L the first door in the aircraft config in order to make MSFS prioritize this door for stairs/jetways etc. - Fixed the direction of the Air Data and FMS selection switches - Updated cockpit PBR effects 👀 Community recommendation We are closely monitoring community contributions. While we are working on improving the cockpit lighting, one of you has been quick to respond. If you want a quick fix now, head to kdfw's work on flightsim.to and download his lighting mod! Hi, first, great scenery. But...attached some issues I see with the new EDDS scenery: Missing 3D-Terrain (red streets ar below the roundabout) Missing Tunnel entrance left (top left), missing entrance to parkink lot right (top left) Gap behind the walls and missing tunnel entrance for the right railwaytrack Gap behind the walls, Railway tracks are not well modeled and missing tunnel entrance for both Railway track Missing block for the left railwaytrack Misisng tunnel entrances (center) and cut in sat picture to stuttgart 21 tunnel entrance (top left) Missing tunnel entrances Missing fences Some more detail to current, also tunnel entrance Tunnel Entrace is missing and walls are broken Broken edge Aerial image is from 2023 (with ealy starting of Stuttgart 21 railway construction). Maybe it can be updated to a more current one with finished ICE tracks and more tunnel entrances.

Twice now flying in 2024 (SU2 beta) into KDCA (ils01) I have encountered what appears like a WASM freeze. The second time it happened I paused the sim and went into Dev mode to look at the console but I could not find any WASM errors. Not sure what is going on here. I don't have this problem with 2020. On PC Store version.

Mount Everest Airport Series Volume 2 enters beta phase The second part after our successful Volume 1 with Lukla goes into testing. We have attached some pictures of the beautiful airport of Phaplu and its surroundings. To get some more information about the airfield and the included parts in the scenery, we have summarised the following information for you to get as excited about the release as we are. Phaplu is the closest airport to Mount Everest that is connected to the national road network. Due to the increasing number of tourists, there are more and more scheduled flights to this airport, which is not only another gateway to Everest, but a beautiful destination in itself, nestled in a lush green landscape. The airport has an interesting location on a hillside, with the apron carved into the terrain and the tower and terminal perched on a high wall that follows the runway. Be careful when taxiing here, as you wouldn't be the first pilot to touch the wall with your wingtip! Approaches to the airport, however, are made difficult by the harsh wind conditions in the valley. Strong winds mean that the airport closes at midday, so flights are limited to the early hours of the morning when the weather is usually good for flying. Gusts of 43 knots have been recorded here. As a bonus, there's another challenging airport included in this package: Kangel Danda, which sits spectacularly on the top of a mountain between Rumjatar and Lukla. There are steep cliffs at either end of the runway, so you can quickly gain ground clearance without having to climb. Recently there have been plans to resume scheduled flights here, as the communications equipment was destroyed in a thunderstorm and little effort has been made to repair it for years. The goats that graze the airport are happy to use it as a welcome pasture. Features: Detailed 3D terrain models of Phaplu and Kangel Danda airports with high-resolution photorealistic textures. We had hidden two small hints in the last screenshots of Oslo. No one had found it well; one clue was also difficult to discover the next mega airport will be none other than the largest German airport - EDDF Frankfurt. Under the direction of Jo Erlend and Lukas (Head of the internal airport dev team), we have been working with a team of 7 on the MSFS implementation for several months. Here are a few impressions from the ongoing development.
