  1. Please use this topic for your livery requests.

If you post images of the livery you are requesting please be aware that we do not allow to post copyright protected material.

In such cases you need to post LINKS to such images only. When inserting a link into the post editor it will be replaced automatically by the image. You need to revert that again by clicking on the following link below the image

How do you know if an image is copyright protected?

A printed copyright statement within the image (like "Copyright by ...") is a good hint for example ;)

And please keep in mind: this is not a support topic.

A aerosoft app for Android or iOS

And what exactly should an Aerosoft app for Android and iOS do? I am sure you don't just want to see the Aerosoft logo to be sown on your phone but also some meaningful content and functionality?

In MY opinion, this is not true. So in MY opinion you also made it even worse.

This discussion started over in the Hamburg topic and is now continued here. How is that not "shifting over" and how do I make it worse just by stating this fact?

I tried to explain the voting system to you and you search the needle in the haystack in that explanation to take personal offense from it.

But if they think my german post here above was impolite or ruder or in any way not constructive, why did they give me downvotes OTHERWHERE?

    Hello John,

I do not really wanted to engage into this topic, but there is a thing I actually would like to explain. The voting system here is open for every logged in user. The forum is an asynchronous communication medium, that means users come and read when ever they have time to do so. Your discussion have been shifted from one topic over into this one over a certain period of time. Users who came earlier read and voted the first topic, other users who came later on read and voted here, or also in both topics. As there are no names connected with the votes you can't say that all downvotes are definitely from the same users, as the same applies to all upvotes. People always come and go here at different times.

Of course, we moderators and the forum owners (Aerosoft) are able to see who voted. This gives us the chance to identify miss-usage and take action on it. We do that actually quite often, we engage users by emails (private forum messages) as also in more severe cases with forum warnings. This is by the way what happened in f-birds case. He made a statement that suggested that the job of the moderators is to downvote everything that criticizes AS. That was a very rude allegation and deserved a warning (with no further consequences actually), As he followed up on that instead of just accepting that he crossed a line, he got a second warning, this time with the consequence that all his future posts will have to be approved by a moderator before showing up publicly. What everyone needs to understand is, that this is not an open and free forum like AVSIM but a company forum from Aerosoft and therefore part of their marketing efforts. This of course comes with more stricter rules compared to a totally open and free forum.

I hope I was able to explain the voting system, and also the f-bird case as you brought it up here. He wasn't banned, he just learned the first two steps of moderation escalation after intentionally crossing the line.

I wish you a nice evening and hope that this case can be settled soon, as we all have already spent way too much time and emotions on it. In the end flight simulation is a hobby for all of us (unless one is a publisher or developer) and should bring joy and not anger.

Might have been more helpful and quicker to say yes or no,

To say simply "yes" or "no" would have required me to do the research myself - for you.

Instead of waiting for an answer here in the forum it would have been actually quicker if you would have just looked it up yourself. THAT is the fasted way, nothing else is.

  6. Those are two different types of displays. The rounded ones are CRTs and can only be found in old busses. The others are LED panels and are used in newer ones. Along with the panels Airbus also changed a lot in the underlying systems, so it's not just a question of replacing the panels.

AS had access to a new bus for creating their Airbus models. Creating old systems with the old CRTs would require a lot of effort and also access to such a bus. AS has already stated multiple times, that this is not on the road map for their busses. Which imho makes sense, why should old systems be simulated when on the other side more modern systems still wait to get implemented?

Can we get a template made for the CRJ 700/900?

I didn't get a chance to buy it yet, but I thought I read somewhere in the preview thread that a template was included with the CRJ?

Indeed, they are included in the setup. Just copy the both files from this folder:

    • Sim Base Folder\[Ecosystem\]Aerosoft\Digital Aviation CRJ\PFPX\

    into this folder:

    • C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\AircraftTypes\

EASY, long haul and dont want to get out of the simulator full screen, would be amazing mathjis and would be a wonderfull idea!

yes, but is not at all integrated.

But what instead of "full screen" just maximize your FSX/P3D window. In this case you still have all other windows available.

Seriously, if something like that would be implemented it would only be a question of seconds until the first one showing up here in the forums complaining that this is such a severe VAS and FPS killer. And actually he would be quite right to do so.
