  1. Thanks for your help. I tried SimMarkets but after entering 3 in the quantity field and pressing Update it reverted to 1. Seems like there is a standard policy of only being able to buy one pack at a time. I'm sure there is a reason but it escapes me.
  2. I'm trying to purchase 3 AES packs but the quantity value of 1 on the Aerosoft page cannot be changed. Does anyone know how to purchase multiple packs please? I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.5.7. Thanks.
  3. Thanks Oliver. I think I must have found the info just as you replied.
  4. I've just found this in the manual... If the airport is available both in the FS2004 and FSX version on your system, both will be set to FULL mode. You do not need to use additional credits. So it would appear one purchase covers both versions. That's good news.
  5. Hi, I hope this doesn't sound like a silly question. I run both FS9 and FSX. When I purchase credits for AES and an airport has AES facilities for both sims is it necessary to buy a credit(s) for both airports or can the purchased credit cover both?
  6. I suppose that could be the reason but it would surprise me. I guess you used Lee Swordy's AFCAD2 program?
  7. Hi Harpsi, Thanks for the offer of your excellent AFCADs. Could you send me the following please? KSFO, LOWW, EDDK, EDDF, LEBL and LEMD. My address is rayproudfoot at btinternet dot com. Thanks.
  8. Thanks Harpsi. I shall copy your original over the one with the runways I deleted. I thought they'd got there by mistake. I'm not used to such sophisticated routines.
  9. Harpsi, I'm hoping you can help regarding your AFCAD for Brussels. Selecting Lists / Runway List shows a total of 9 entries for EBBR. The only runways I'm aware of are 02/20, 07L/25R and 07R/25L. The airport is centred around N50 54.05, E004 28.3 but the following runways have a latitude of N52 - well away from EBBR... 02L/21R, 03R/21L, 04L/22R, 04R.22L, 05/23 and 06/24. Have you any idea why these are present?
  10. Sorry, that comment is completely lost on me. :?
  11. Hi stefaandk, Yes. You should rebuild your RC database after any change of AFCAD file. Not sure about FSComander but any program that reads airport BGLs should be rescanned.
  12. Hi Harpsi, I've just spent the last 30 minutes watching aircraft arrive and depart EBBR using your AFCAD. It looks great! Well done on a great piece of work. I'm particularly impressed how you got aircraft to taxi to Rwy 20 and 25R holds and to use both runways to depart. I saw one small problem in all that time. A 747 landed on 20 but stayed frozen by the first of two exits to the right. It was eventually deleted by FS. Not a big problem. Thanks.
  13. Hi Harpsi, I haven't tried your AFCAD but I will. Does it resolve the problem of broken taxiway links? I appreciate Brussels isn't as busy as Heathrow, Rome or Paris but for commercial software I would expect an error-free AFCAD especially at a relatively low-volume airport. It's very kind of you to supply a replacement. I modified EGCC a few years ago and know it's time consuming work. The fact remains though is that the producers of this software should provide a working AFCAD and should not be let off the hook by kind individuals such as yourself. Incidentally, I started another thread here and have been pointed to another AFCAD on AvSim by Jean-Philippe DELWICHE. Are you aware of his? Are there any major differences?
  14. Thank you Oliver, I'll give it a try. Does it resolve all the problem with the original? Does anyone know if Dream Factory Studio visit these forums and can answer purchasers questions?
  15. Harpsi, I notice you have provided an alternative AFCAD for Brussels for FS9. Whilst this is appreciated shouldn't the problem AFCAD be corrected by the producers of this software? This is commercial software so I would expect a fully-functioning AFCAD with no reported errors when checked by a program such as AFX. Incidentally, I've always been under the impression that if you closed only one end of a runway FS9 Ai completely ignored both ends. Things may have changed in FSX but as things stand it isn't possible for Ai to land and take-off unless both ends are open.
  16. Hi, I installed the FS9 version of Brussels airport last night and then checked the AFCAD using AFX. It reported multiple problems with broken taxiway links. More importantly several runways have been closed including 02/20. In some cases only one end of a runway has been closed. This will prevent either end of the runway being used by Ai aircraft. Can anyone please explain why the AFCAD appears to have so many issues? Thanks.
  17. Hi Oliver, Yes, I was referring to the AFCAD file. Thank you for explaining the probable reason it was done that way. I don't use the default ATC preferring Radar Contact but fortunately the wide runways don't cause a problem with that program. Knowing the excellence of the GA scenery I can understand that the developers would have done this for a good reason. The ISD developers have done a similar thing for LIRF. Cheers.
  18. Can anyone please explain why the runways in the GA1 package for EDDM are 700ft wide? The standard width is 148ft. Surely some mistake? Cheers.
