  1. Hi guys, I can only say that with my alpha version of Brussels performance is a no brainer, even with a complex aircraft like our CRJ. That is happening with a 6 year old Desktop and a 2 year old Gaming notebook. And that is pre explicit optimizations for performance. So...I doubt anyone would need to loose sleep over removing things like terminal interior or visible pax just to get a resonable flying experience. And just to confirm everyones impression: the visual fidelity and attention to detail is indeed outstanding in the scenery.

  2. Rotate the “format” knob to put the MFD into PLAN mode. (It is the outer ring of the knob you use to zoom). Then, press the MFD ADV key on the FMS. This will bring up a menu with two prompts that allow you to step through each waypoint of your flightplan from beginning to end, (or back). The zoom control is also active in PLAN mode.

  3. Looking forward to it. Even if my order wouldn't be part of the next badge it would get a little closer anyway.

  5. Hi there, I would not call it sad. Maybe we have some news for some customers soon..... Stay tuned! Greetings, Marius

  6. I agree with LFPG, we need a good CDG, (MSFS already has a LEBL that does the job, I would rather companies focus on airports not on the market, rather than re-doing airports, unless they have a contract as Mathijs was talking about the other day)

  7. So aside from the sort of virtual pissing contest about flying old school ... Any input on whether the rate of descent will be added to the MFD VNAV window in this sims iteration of the CRJ? Is it on any devs list?

  8. The Navigraph MSFS nav data (the top choice on the menu shown in your screen shot), replaces the default MSFS nav data for procedures such as SIDS, STARS and approaches for use by default MSFS aircraft. It is much more complete than the default MSFS nav data in this regard, but this data is not directly used by the CRJ, which has its own FMS database. (The third option in your screen shot). However, the Navigraph MSFS nav data also sets the positions, frequencies and alignments of all VORs, NDBs, ILSs and DMEs in the simulated world, and these are used by all aircraft, including the CRJ. There are errors with localizer courses at certain airports in MSFS when using the default database which are corrected by Navigraph.

  9. I have good news. ASOBO had a look at the crash dumps we sent in and those all point to the same problem. While I can't offer a solution or workaround at this time, I can at least tell you this: The problem is actively being worked on. The problem is not with the CRJ itself but somewhere with the code that loads the aircraft. I hope that a fix or at least a workaround will be available as soon as possible, however, this is out of my hands.

  10. Hello. I was struggling a bit with the holding into the FMS up to now (how the CRJ fly them is already asked/discussed in another thread I already opened). Now I'm pointing at the INBD CRS. Whenever I create an holding and I want to insert the INBD CRS I type into the fms the digits (i.e. 340/L) and I enter the course value into the INBD CRS field of the Holding page. The FMS automatically changes the inserted value into another one! I tried it several times and probably I realized how, when I insert a course value (which is Magnetic Course) the FMS thinks I'm telling him a true value and converts it to the mag one with the variation of the area. It could be? Anyway, it seems to be definitely a wrong behaviour. The FMS Holding page should receive and keep MY input of course without any manipulation. If I set 340/L I mean magnetic, if I set 340T/L I mean a course with True north reference (according to Collins FMS manuals...). Can you kindly check it and, in case, fix it next time (hopefully together the other big issue I have with the holdings: Thank you guys Andrea

  11. @Pitt153Die Trafohäuschen sehen sehr gut aus! Sogar behördlich abgenommen, daher das gelbe Warn-Dreieck auf der Eingangstür. Vielen Dank für deine Arbeit!

  12. Hab das ja wie oben geschrieben etwas runtergesetzt, so wird das zukünftig werden, für Gebäude die keine explizite Höhen/Levels-Angabe haben: <node identifier="town" min_levels="1" max_levels="3" range="2"/> <node identifier="village" min_levels="1" max_levels="2" range="2"/> <node identifier="farm" min_levels="1" max_levels="2" range="1"/> Und @Pitt153 hat nochmals die Trafohäuschen angepasst, sieht nun so aus (oben rechts ist auch noch einer, in weiß):

  13. Do you have a release date for this masterpiece? I can't wait to fly to Brussels.

  15. There does indeed seem to be an intermittent bug where the FD horizontal bar sometimes freezes, which apparently can be resolved by re-selecting APP a second time. (I posted that to our bug tracker). But, in general, the FD bar does not directly indicate glideslope deviation, but rather, the pitch angle you need for your current airspeed and flap configuration. It’s also important to always check the FMA (flight mode annunciation) in the upper left corner of the PFD to see what is driving the horizontal and vertical bars of the FD. The default on the ground (when no specific mode is selected) is ROLL/PTCH.

  16. I confirm that the reported problem was due to an incorrect installation of the navigation data. Thank you

  17. Anyone from Devs had a chance to look at this?
    1 point
  18. No, this is not possible, as the files MS puts into the sim are encrypted and Aerosoft has no acces to those files.

  20. The flight director does not show the relative position of the glideslope in relation to the airplane - it shows the pitch angle you need to use in order to descend on the glideslope at your current airspeed and flap setting. Also, the pitch angle of the airplane does not necessarily correspond to the descent angle when flying a glideslope. Depending on the specific make and model of aircraft, and flap and engine power configuration, it is possible to be descending on a 3 degree glideslope, with the nose pitched 3 degrees above horizontal. (Or anywhere in between). In your screen shot (taken on the ground) the flight director is in basic roll and pitch mode, so it has nothing to do (in this case) with whatever ILS is tuned on your nav radio. On some airliners, such as the 737, the flight director command bars can be turned off on the pilot’s flight display, without the autopilot disconnecting, and some airlines do this as an SOP when flying an ILS to avoid distracting the pilot. (This cannot be done on the CRJ). You cannot fly the FD command bars as if they were indicating the deviation of the localizer and glideslope, that is not their purpose.

  21. The title of this section is General Discussion Open discussion about the Aerosoft CRJ, no support please! I wish people would understand that doing what they want when they want and acting like a child will not get them help any quicker. They need to realize that within the community there are experts and very qualified people to help. However they are not experts in everything. Some might be whizzes with the controls. Some with certain systems. Either way making people who want to help peruse around the forum and week through the general area, especially when AS said NO SUPPORT, is borderline rude and childish. All of the issues I see here have very specific places to ask questions and seek help. It also helps the developer see things more clearly and I will guarantee that the developer has staff that are great at painting but can't fix the fms or the throttle. General discussion, as the title reflects, should have zero tech support topics.

  22. I keyed in on your "I have this problem as well statement" (seemingly referring to lag/latency) and it not particularly linking to the OP's cruise entry CTD. After reviewing your response, I can see where you were indeed tying to help with what's likely a related issue though not the core one. So yes, it really isn't piggybacking as I first believed, and you have my apology. I also hid my earlier post to you.

  23. From the AVSIM CTD Guide: Kernelbase.dll – A system file so a problem with your computer system. FSX or P3D just happened to be running when the event occurred. Related to StackHash errors and NTDLL.dll errors (see below). No known fix but some have solved this problem by - • Settings too high. Rebuild FSX/P3D config. • Updating or reinstalling their video card drivers. • Scanning your system for corrupt/missing files. • Disable startup programs by typing msconfig in the Windows search box. When open, look at the Startup tab and disable all startups (they are all not needed for operation of your computer). • User Profile Corrupted – last resort, fix possible corrupted user profile. Also, a CPU or GPU overclock can cause the problem you are having. My personal recommended P3D Settings: Best wishes!

  26. hello VERDICT.... this morning i really think that the majority of the issues are from ourself i made many test since 06h00 this morning and it is 11h30 in montreal. i just made two flightest from CYUL to CYOW and i made it perfect. ive followed by the book all what the support told me and also some peoples. and i am very happy with this. regarding PROFILES for the flight yoke etc.... the only very minor issue ive found is in the FMS......when we enter a plan ....there is a little white hand with a finger showing what we wanna do........specially the one behind the SPEED BRAKE were its marked CLR...if there is no finger on the little hand , it wont clear or delete the errors if we see the little finger.........it will work. so the majority of errors wasnt made by the CRJ or AEROSOFT but by myself, and i am very happy with it thank you lucien paquette

  27. But keep in mind this ONLY affects the Marketplace version. If you have this issue with the Non Marketplace version we still want to hear from you.

  28. Currently it is not. But to be honest, the only interesting for a pilot is the ZFW/ZFWCG. We have other requests that want exactly that option to enter and nothing more. Everything else could then be set in the simbrief fleet management. Do it such way and use our load manger sliders just to adjust the ZFW, and don’t look at the pax numbers. It’s all limited by max cargo per bay and MTOW.

  29. Because CTD after marketplace update doesn't fit in any other sub forums, just a guess?

  30. Nope, as said in some posts ago. Work is currently coding. Model will start soon. So nothing to show.

  33. I may have a solution for this, that just might work... It seems that the loading of the plane in the community folder is different from the loading in the Stream or the OneStore folder... I did this on the FS2020 Microsoft Store edition, with the FS Marketplace CRJ.... What I did was, with the simulator closed, copy the aerosoft-crj folder from the OneStore directory (Steam Directory if you are using the Stream version), then move it to the community folder. Remove it then from the OneStore or Steam directory, and then start the simulator. This seems to be accounting for most of the issues, I have consistently had since 1.0.5.0.... Let me know if this works for any of you, besides just me... I was not experiencing the CTD, but I do wonder if this may prevent it on your machines.

  34. This thread has evolved into a catch-all support question basket. This area in the forums is specifically not a support one, so it's best to lock this. From the header: "General Discussion Open discussion about the Aerosoft CRJ, no support please!" For those in need of product support, please repost in the appropriate support area. Thanks for understanding.

  35. Could it be that the aircraft is just unfinished product?

  36. MSFS was my introduction to flight simming and pretty much aviation in general. Without going on a big spill, I'm really disappointed with the CRJ aircraft. It was an absolute waste of $50 and to be honest has probably turned me away from buying any payware aircraft again. It's been 3 months since it's launch and it still doesn't work. AP is a joke, won't follow flight plan, that's just scratching the surface. There was a thread here from a month ago that said there was an impending update that was allegedly going to fix this issues. What happened? If I were aerosoft, I'd be ashamed to have a product that doesn't stack anywhere near what the flybywire team has accomplished. Mind you, that's freeware. I know I won't get my money back, I just wanted to express my aggravation and disappoinment because this was a waste of $50.

  37. That would make sense if that were the only things. However looking today FMS Cannot Delete Errors in CRJ MSFS MSFS Toggle Reverse Occasional Loss of Power CRJ Won't Fly the Approach etc. AS could take certain topics, for example those related to the CTD and put in a new section, possibly called "Installation/Update Issues.
