A few WIP screens for the American Eagle -900. Here she is rocketing out of KDFW, with a sister ship on the parallel matching her takeoff. I'll be at the gate where the blue tram is stopped on Friday. (they are orange now...maybe I'll figure out how to paint them in the scenery) A Spirit Banana is taking me to LA. Here is the opposite side, downtown Dallas in the background (there are many more buildings in real life. And that stadium, torn down years ago..The Cowboys play in Arlington now) Still a lot to do (like I said...not as easy as just throwing 700 textures on the 900 when you have to guess on a lot of alignment items). Fortunately the tail texture is not that different, so I can use most of the 700's map...the registration spans 2 maps...so another alignment to work through. Remember alot of these textures are Stefan's as he did the original AE on the 700....I've just tweaked the colors, added silver mica flecks in the paint, and a few company-specific badges. I already have a registration lined up for her by request. She will be N574NN. She should be ready by the weekend, I'm working hard to get her ready for your weekend guys, trust me! I'll post the release announcement in this thread (as usual). AI is stupid. You'd almost never see an aircraft crossing over the other ops area (East and West operations running parallel runways) unless there is zero traffic...even then its rare. This would be the reason..... He's trying to wreck my shiny new paintjob! I was watching him because I don't trust AI...ever. I'll miss him, but if I wasn't antisipating it, my last view would be him emerging from co-pilot's post that was completely blocking my view of him (If I had a co-pilot he would have saw him though)

To be honest, I do think the Airbus line of products is very much what you are looking for. With the semi automated checklists and semi conscious co-pilot it really is not hard to fly the busses while still stay pretty realistic. We would love to release something less complex to be honest. There IS a market for that for sure. but we would be slaughtered on the interwebs because so many people feel that anything below what they call a 'study simulator' (still no idea what that means to be honest) is a disgrace for Aerosoft to release. If they would only know the difference between what sells and what does not sell. If I tell them the simpler products outsell the more complex ones that get all the attention on the websites they would call us crazy.

Relation is okay, but until FSW come out of 'early access' and is really released with an SDK we have decided not to make any add-ons for it. Chances of things being changed (hopefully to be honest) are just too large and these changes could make add-ons fully incompatible.

Testing night textures....fireworks in the backgorund....flightsim just pleasantly surprises me sometimes.

Not yet - I decided that I wanted to adjust the blue at the bottom of the fuselage so moving it is taking a bit of time. Should be available soon, then I'll move to the CRJ7 for the Delta Connection fleet.

I figured out the offset of the tailart between VERTICAL TAIL AND RUDDER. Simply move your tailfinart copy that pixeldifference, delete the overstanding rest and you are done (Shift arrow in PS jumps 10px per input to move fast and correct over larger distances):

This project had several problems and was actually complete restarted. Development is now going okay but it is not ready for release.

Hello lulu47, unlike other vendors Aerosoft gives information of a new developments already quite early in the process. So just the pure existence of the preview topic is no indication that the release is imminent. This is unlike other vendors who give you only a clue of what's coming next only weeks before the release. Of course it is totally up to you to like or dislike the AS way of handling previews. If you dislike it, I would suggest you do not take a look into the preview topics. That would keep you from negative emotions. It is also possible to hide the entire preview forum for you. We have done that in the past already for a couple of users on their own request.

Brussels airport the scenario we will never see, three years (since the july 2013) that Aerosoft is rolling us in flour and is busy with this medium airport (Brussels Airport is not a big airport, no bigger than EKCH or LOWW), designers who live far from Belgium and have never seen with their own eyes the Brussels Airport while Justsim or flyTampa realize a big airport such as LEBL or EHAM in a few months with a quality and fluidity much superior and irreproachable! Scandalous to make people hope by sending them a pathetic image every three months, finding every time an apology, to repeat that the schedule is respected and to take people for idiots!

I totally understand that, but I mentioned it because those gates being closed (like 201 now for works at the old terminal - temporarily) will be open again. It should be too bad those gates will not be in the scenery at all just because they were closed for a limited time and will be useless in the future, you understand my point?
