Emi 5161 Posted August 8, 2014 Share Posted August 8, 2014 We have already found quite some mistakes on this page, so I wouldn't trust it in every item. This one is easy though: Final Fuel is the minimum fuel to remain at the destination airport. You are NOT supposed to use this fuel in any case! If your fuel gets below this quantity you have to declare a fuel emergency. Extra Fuel is additional fuel carried for example due to a possible delay, bad weather at the destination, etc. If you add final and extra fuel you get the total (FMC) reserves carried on this flight.
