For example: KLAX-KMIA= TRIP fuel+Altn fuel+FAR Reserve(45min) With EuOps you add 3 or 5 percent cont fuel. So with US domestic not? Note.Usually contingency fuel goes above the line, it means if you put it in then it will be part of min takeoff fuel. Extra fuel falls below the line, it means you can burn it at any time even before takeoff (long taxi, ATC reroutes...), very handy. Some deviations possible depends on airline.
