Airbus339 129
Hello, I'm now cruising on the A321 IAE but I'm quite scared that I cannot reach my destination!! Fuel planner told me to load 11.2 T of fuel for the UAAA-UGTB flight (1470NM, about H 3.30) I'm at FL360 with 20 as CI, M.777, TAS 447, GS 430. It's now about 50 minutes from takeoff and I've already burned 3700kg??!! Maybe it's just an imagination, but I don't think AAX V1.04 consumed as much as V1.10. N1 is at 82%/83& (seems too high too) and every engine is consuming 1350kg/hr. Any suggestions? EDIT: or is the fuel planner too conservative about fuel? Emi 5161
What is your OPT altitude? Are you cruising at OPT altitude? Next please tell us how much you've loaded.
Airbus339 129
OPT ALT FL360 (was Fl355 before takeoff) CRUISE FL360 Passengers: 90 Cargo: 1349Kg Curiosity: in the SP1 does load affect fuel consumption? I read in this forum that until V1.04 this was not simulated
Emi 5161
Then you should be fine... The fuel consumption was refering to the fuel manager where it was not taken into account before, but on the actual aircraft in the simulator the effect was always there. Please report if you are able to reach your destination or not. The Airbus in fact consumes much fuel during takeoff and climb (realistic though I think), but really much in the air. Airbus339 129
Used about 2000Kg more than what fuel planner said (wind was exactly as planned) .... 10746 Kg used... should have been 8700

Airbus339 129
It seems to work: for the same flight, fuel planner gave me about 2600kg more
