philwhite 29
My system has an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 running at 3.6Ghz. Now I know newer processors have an edge over it but would say a Quad Core i5 or i7 running at 3.6Ghz really make much difference as a comparison in like for like speed. mjrhealth 3
WIth FSX its al about speed the faster teh beter. But FSX like many programmes is affected by hardware, software and drivers which can all cause it to fall over. A quad core at 4.5 Gig or faster and a GTX 670 or better is the way to go. You would gain about 50% to 75% fps.
