Wanttosavetime 1
Hi, in Airbus X (first version) i see in the PFD the distance to the chosen ILS approach below the frequency. In Airbus X Extended there is no distance shown (also when i am really near to the runway). I see only ... NM. What can i do to see this distance also in extended-version?? Thanks for your help and reply
Patrick1246 353
Depends on the ILS, if the ILS has an DME, you should see the Distance to them, but without there is no distance to Display
Wanttosavetime 1
Thanks for your fast reply. Patrick1246 353
can you post a screen with PFD, ND and RAD/NAV Page in the FMGS
Emi 5161
Most propably a bug in the old Airbus. Here we have an approach chart to EDDC: http://nav.vatsim-germany.org/files/edbb/charts/eddc/public/EDDC_APP.pdf As we can see no DME is in the ILS, otherwise it'd look like this: http://nav.vatsim-germany.org/files/edmm/charts/eddm/public/apch/EDDM_APCH-03_ILS_26L.pdf So it is absolutly correct that there is no DME shown on this approach. If you try the approach of the second chart you should see the DME. Merry Christmas Emanuel
Wanttosavetime 1
Sorry i was wrong, no distance is shown in Airbus X. I was checking now the same flight to EDDC with Airbus X. Of course a confusion with other airports. Many thanks for your help!! Merry Christmas
