Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted December 24, 2011 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 24, 2011 While doing a re-install of my FSX and add-ons, I wasn't careful enough about looking where the Launcher wanted to install. It's off my C: root and I want it somewhere else (no, not Program Files (x86)) on my Win7 64 bit system. On the D: drive with the rest of my FSX stuff. I know I can remove the Launcher in Programs, but how do I re-download it? I'd hate to have to remove and re-install a scenery that uses it to do the job. Thanks in advance.

Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted December 24, 2011 Author Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 24, 2011 When you uninstall through the Control Panel, there's a dire warning about losing access to all your add-ons. I took a chance (good backup in hand) and uninstalled, then re-installed with the downloaded file no problems. The registrations copied over perfectly. This time I was more careful about where to install and everything is now where I want it to be.
