A smooth flight! Ok...Well thats it..the shows over folks Its been a blast thats for sure! This is the second time round for me, as i did a RTW tour by myself in the past.It got incredibly boring and i ended up quiting after flying from the UK to New Zealand. My wall map from before: A piece of cotton joins the pins up to show the route. But, as there was a challenging element to this RTWC, it made alot more entertaining! Especially with Some of the legs in phase 5 was a drag, but hey, the worlds a big place, so that was inevitible. Also, flying with FSFS made the whole experience a totally diffrent one from before, in a positive way of course, with the extra challenge of trying to achive a decent score. On top of that, there was the chance to win prizes, whitch i did. So i'd like to thank FS flying School, for thier genurosity in giving us all a free full version copy of thier software. Also a big thank you to Aerosoft,FSAdoon and Uilver team for thier generosity in sponsering the RTWC, and offering the prizes to us. The stat of my logbook are as follows : Total ditance flown : 25,651 miles Longest Leg flown : 845 miles ( 06C - KASE ) Longest Block time : 3.30 ( whether thats 3 H 30 mins im not sure) Total flying time : 111.23 Day : 83.28 Night : 27.91 And finally..i think this goes without saying, but a MAH-HOOSIVE thanks must go out to Matt Smith, for getting ball rolling to start with, and Ole Andreasen, for assisting in any issues we all had, arranging the prizes and all the hard work involved with judging pics ect, and also for taking over when Matt was unable. work Ole, thanks. So, all there is left to do is get back to Andras Field from innsbruck.Looking forward to that, online.(i have the image of 6 DC-3's on final with theme tune ''coming in on a wing and a prayer'') LOL
