Hi everyone,

I've been flying with Microsoft Flight Simulator for a while now, and I have a question regarding the realism of the A320neo's flight dynamics in the sim.

I've noticed that during descent, particularly in managed mode, the aircraft sometimes struggles to maintain the planned vertical path, resulting in steeper or shallower descents than expected. I've cross-referenced this with real-world procedures and data, and it seems a bit off.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how have you adjusted your descent planning or managed your vertical speed to compensate for these discrepancies? Are there any recommended mods or tweaks that improve the A320neo's behavior in this aspect?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!

I’ve noticed the same thing with the A320neo in MSFS. It can be pretty frustrating when the descent doesn’t go as planned. One thing that helped me is using the Vertical Speed (VS) mode manually to fine-tune the descent rate. It’s not a perfect solution, but it gives more control compared to managed mode.

Also, you might want to check out the FlyByWire A32NX mod if you haven’t already. It greatly improves the overall behavior and realism of the A320neo in the sim.

Guys, this forum is an Aerosoft forum. If you have problems with the MSFS and its default addons, you better discuss this in Microsofts MSFS forumm
