I've installed SimStarterNG and Active Sky P3D on a new computer running P3D v5.3HF2.

 

In the Extended Settings Active Sky options the ActiveSky (ASP3D) ConFig1 Set is selected. In the General section of that screen Live is the preferred option.

 

But when ASP3D is launched it sets the Historical option. If I run ASP3D independently it does set the option to Live. Why won't it work via SSNG?

Configure ActiveSky is also ticked.

Yes to both. See attached screenshot. Where is the value for LIve set in the ASP3D.ini file?

It is the PreviousWxMode= entry in the ASP3D.cfg

It says 0. What does that mean?

=0 is live traffic.

 

I have checked here and SS switches between historic and live without issue:

 

 

Thanks Stephen. That procedure works. I was auto-launching it from the ASP3D section. That clearly doesn't pick up all the parameters.

 

I've now added it to the Run section. It starts fine and after P3D exits it closes ASP3D correctly.
