Bravo trim issue, trim is more sensitive in one direction

Recommended Posts

When using the trim wheel, it is twice as sensitive in one direction than it is in the other. That means there are twice as many clicks happening when moving forward than when moving back, so trimming out the plane is very annoying because the same small movement forward requires twice as much going backwards. It's behaviour is so far off real-life that it's not fun.

I thought it was a hardware issue, but I bought a second bravo and it exhibits the same behavior. Any ideas how to fix? Videos attached

Both trims exhibit the exact same problem as mentioned in that thread.

Approximately 49 pulses in one direction full rotation, 24 in the other.

How can I fix/workaround this?

Hi,

There is no workaround. The unit must be exchanged.

If you bought it from us, please open a ticket in our support system

Otherwise, please initiate an exchange with your point of purchase.

Best regards.

I've bought two of them, and they both exhibit the same problem. The problem has been recorded elsewhere by many other people. It's very likely the next one will have the exact same problem as well. How can I ensure I get a working one?

I bought both of them through Amazon UK

Hi,

I suggest you return the unit explaining the issue you had in both units.

It is however unlikely they will have someone physically check the unit but it

is worth trying anyway.

Amazon is big machine compared to smaller local resellers.

Best regards.
