mtissing 3 Posted August 28, 2021 Share Posted August 28, 2021 When I set the "DH" I get a "minimums" audible call out at the appropriate altitude. When I set "MDA" instead, I get no audible call out, just the notification on the PFD. Can anyone comment whether this is true to the plane or a missing feature? For low visibility (CATII, CATIIIa): "APPROACHING MINIMUMS" at 100 ft above DH and "MINIMUMS" at minimum. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CRJay 429 Posted August 31, 2021 Share Posted August 31, 2021 Some of our planes give a "PLUS 100" call at 100 above MDA as well. There are some options that can be tweaked as to which specific callouts are enabled, though not by pilots. But in general it should at the very least give you the minimums call at DH and MDA.
