Is it accurate to be able to move flaps without any pressure in HYD?

hello,

I was at my gate, shutting down the plane and I figured too late my flaps were still extended. My HYD pumps were off, APU off, plugged to external AC. There was no remaining pressure in any of the HYD systems. And yet I was able to retract and extend my flaps. Are they electric in the CRJ?

Yes, they are driven by electric motors, not hydraulics. Pretty much every other flight control surface is hydraulic though, except for the horizontal stabilizer.
