Cannot edit/save aircraft.cfg file

Featured Replies

Hello

I'm trying to install a new livery and I have put the texture file in the right place but when I go to save the cfg file it says action denied and the folder doesn't have permission. Tried both wordpad and notepad.

Hey Brit,

Apologies for my intial response, I didn't understand what the issue was.

Is there any chance that you have Microsoft's One Drive active and the Aircraft folder is actually there instead of on your hard drive?  If so, you'll need to disable One Drive (at least for the Documents folder, and then uninstall and reinstall the A330.

Otherwise this is very likely a folder permission issue as the error pop up says.

Let us know?

Never used one drive and isn't set up on my system. I'm stumped.

Ok fixed it!, I had to edit the aircraft.cfg file and allow full access.
