Since updating to v2 the flight levels that are given in the ofp are way to low.

 

Tried all methods of finding a route, (min time,min fuel, upper airways) but the Flight level never goes about FL300.

Aircraft max alt is FL410

 

tried on many different routes but the flight levels are still not going high enough

Have you restored old data ?

Is the aircraft using a supplied performance profile or that of a third party?

Same problem for me as well. Tried to min time,min fuel, upper airways etc. Never gives a FL higher than 300. most of the time its FL240 with the B737 800 template

It is no good 'me to' without any information.

 

The OP's issue was identified as 'min time' pushing through a lower airway.

Thanks srcooke, I have had and used PFPX for 4 years and first now i discover the RAD restrictions and DCT files. They did indeed help to build a more logic route.

You´re right. Previous version of PFPX didn´t take altitude limits on certain airways into account on the OFP from which I believe my confusion has arise. Thanks

The vertical profiling has been totally overhauled and also taking into account the EuroControl level capping.
