permanent MACH <> SPEED change in cruise - managed mode A319 CFM

I got an issue yesterday which I had not seen before, but I am not sure if it could be related to the latest update because it was with the A319 which does not seem to have received a lot of changes with this last update yesterday..

When I reached cruising altitude the AP/AT in managed mode did constantly switch between MACH and SPEED mode throughout the entire cruise phase (maybe every 20 seconds),  which also caused the speed bug on the PFD to change every 20 seconds or so with the engines spooling up to reach the new speed mark just to then again spool down  when the speed bug switched back.....

This behaviour only ended when the descend was initiated...

any clues here?

best regards

Would be happy to provide more info, but I dont know exactly what that could possibly be in this case.

Its the first time I saw that behaviour, to my knowledge I did everything as always.

Flight was from EDDK to EDDH, Takeoff weight was around

140 KLBS, originally planned route by simbrief was
EDDK/06 PODI7K PODIP Y867 WRB P12 NORTA P605 NOLGO NOLG3A EDDH/05

but finally I used runway 14L at EDDK and another SID and STAR, but I cant remember exactly which one

Preflight , Takeoff and Climb where as expected, I used managed mode throughout , Cruise alt FL300 , (Descend had issues with the vertical profile which left me about 3000 ft too high to catch the glideslope, but this is a differenet topic I suppose)

What else could be helpful ?
