unc1rlm 0 Posted July 16, 2018 Share Posted July 16, 2018 When I launch P3dv4.3...I get the following errors......System Errors: VCRuntime 140.dll; MSVCP140.dll; CONCRT140.dll....Said try reinstalling program? What program. I am certainly not reinstalling P3dv4.3 from scratch and all my addons. I rebooted after installing per the screen and I click on the p3dv4.3 exe and this is what I get. Thanks for any help. I have turned off av etc and ran install as administrator. Thanks, Bob M Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted July 16, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 16, 2018 Please install or update the Microsoft VC++ Redistributable packages on your computer from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted July 16, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted July 16, 2018 The installer of the bus does not install ANYTHING that is loaded on start of the sim. So it very hard to see how the installation could cause the sim to malfunction until the aircraft is actually loaded. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
unc1rlm 0 Posted July 16, 2018 Author Share Posted July 16, 2018 This is what I did: I installed...(1) Installed as administrator...rebooted computer and when I launched p3dv4.3...those were the errors msg. Nothing had been done to computer between the two processes. (2) I uninstalled Airbus and with Tom's help..I installed only the first Visual Studio 2017 x64 redistributable and then p3dv4.3 launched fine. (3) I reinstalled A318/319 and now everything seems to be fine. Maybe something got corrupted. Just in case anyone else might have the same issue. I am running Windows 10x64 latest update. Great product btw. Thank you Tom and Mathijs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted July 16, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 16, 2018 You might just had a buggy version of that Microsoft package installed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RoyalToto 8 Posted July 16, 2018 Share Posted July 16, 2018 I had the same problem. Check in "C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4" the dll.xml (download notepad++ (google for it). In my version the installer wrote a wrong entry for RAAS. I had RaasPro installed allready. After checking the install path all worked again. This is how mine lookes now: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="3,0" id="dll"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG_HUD_interface</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_HUD_interface.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG_Interface</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_Interface.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>RAASPRO</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>.\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted July 16, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 16, 2018 In this case the problem wasn't RAAS but a wrong or missing Microsoft redistributable. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
