Mejjo 14
Hi there, Is there a way to turn off the static aircraft? Can't seem to find any config with the scenery
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted January 4, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted January 4, 2018 IIRC, you chose to install them or not during the installation. Before you try that in a reinstall, look in your "[P3Dv4 Root]\Ecosystem\Aerosoft\Helgoland Professional\Scenery" folder for the file "Duene_Static.BGL" and deactivate it by adding ".OFF" after the ".BGL" (just what's inside the quotes) and then see it this turns them off. Just out of curiosity, why turn them off? There's not so many and not so many polygons in them to have much if any of an FPM hit.

I thought they were going to be a FPS hit but i was wrong, I have left them alone. The scenery looks incredible!
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted January 7, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted January 7, 2018 Thanks for the feedback on FPS hit. That could help someone in the future to decide to choose to leave them in during installation or later.
