skelsey 103 Posted January 25, 2016 Share Posted January 25, 2016 I think this may be due to the way in which the GW is calculated on each display. I have a feeling that the SD GW is calculated based on air data (i.e. airspeed/AOA) whereas the FMGS GW is calculated from the ZFW entry + block fuel (minus fuel used). The Airbus can compute its gross weight based on airspeed/AOA, but this calculated value is subjected to a high degree of innacuracy and thus isn't displayed to the pilots in the SD.
