  1. And, BTW, your statement (underlined) is totally innacurate in what refers to IPACS. The feature of editing the MCF file adding an alternate path to your user sceneries is fully and officially supported by IPACS. Cheers, Ed
  2. No start locations shown for the Offshore platforms and wind turbines, that's what I'm pointing out. Should we expect that it will be start locations or not, because as stated in the Manual, page 27, they should be four (4) in total, two for Bulsum and Helgoland and two for the offshore things (see below): mittelplate Start location/3D data for Mittelplate oil rig offshore Start locations/3D data for offshore wind farms and platforms north of Helgoland Thanks in advance for clarifying. Cheers, Ed
  3. And a solution for the non-visible offshore things?. As it can be seen on the attached extract of one of the TSC files, there's no parking location, or starting positions on the file on v1.01 (and v1.00). Cheers, Ed
  4. Not my case here. Neither of these two issues seems to have been updated with v1.01. Not happy. Ed
  5. Hi, could someone at Aerosoft please check if the new v1.01 installer replaced v1.00 in the downloads section of the accounts?. Seems to me that the installer is the same as the original as I don't see the offshore start locations and the installer does not allow to change the path to your desired user folder. Thanks. Ed
  6. Well done by some soul at Aerosoft, thanks. Cheers, Ed
  7. Thanks for the idea, I'll check that. Cheers, Ed
  8. Sorry, but this is totally clear and there's no discussion about that. I don't really think we should raise any issue to IPACS. In AFS2 you already have the option to place your user sceneries on another drive if you wish (being the main reason to save disk space in your OS drive), by modifying the main.mcf file and including on that file the alternate path on another drive of your choice. If you wish I can point you in the right direction to find the precise and detailed instructions originally submitted by IPACS. The point in discussion here is that by doing that exact procedure the Helgoland scenery does not work anymore (at least on my setup), and it shouldn't be any reason for this to happen. Cheers, Ed
  9. Hopefully your new installer comes out with an option to select a different drive and path for Helgoland. Don't like to change the default Windows location of the Documents folder for not interfering with other apps, apart of the fact that within a few months our drive C: will be insufficient to store all sceneries we'll have for AFS2. Cheers, Ed
  10. Very nice little place. Hopefully Aerosoft will complement the region with lots more airports, for AFS2 of course, the future of flightsims. Wallet ready here!. Cheers, Ed
  11. Right, I knew it, but I tested it already months ago with a high value (=30, as I remember) and the results were not good, so I decided to not to include it on my Prepar3D.cfg. Now testing with lower values (6, 9) to see if there's any improvements at EDDF. Thanks again, Ed
  12. This is not set to any value in my CFG file. I'll test it using =6 to see what happens. Thanks, Ed
  13. Hi Erik: Here you are. Btw, EDDF v2 is the only scenery that gives me the stuttering and FPS variations. 14. I regret to inform also that in a similar round up from gate 143 with my RealAir Lancair Legacy v2 to RWY 07L, I encountered a lot of stuttering and FPS varying abnormally from 33 (highest) to 12 (lowest). After TO and a go-around to land in RWY 07R, similar situation with lots of stuttering. All the rest of my scenery works well and I can say my rig is kind of a high-end desktop. I've also noted some vehicles circulating in the taxiways and dirt coming out of the wheels of the Lancair even if it was taxiing over concrete/asphalt. Details of the building, objects and runways are certainly amazing, but I think that to have this scenery working with an adequate fluidity you would have to move the sliders to lower values. I'll patiently wait for the v2.1 of this scenery and hopefully the developer can find a way to overcome the issues. I'm running P3Dv3.2 and no OOM's.
