    Hi guys,

     

    as @Raphael Jakobhas elluded to above, there is indeed plans to bring our in house module to a v2. This includes getting rid of the menu, adding online functionality (VATSIM and the likes) etc.

     

    It is not there is a lack of ideas and motivation from our side, but as you might have guessed already, in the end it all comes down to priorities and resources. Thats why I am not able to give you a clear time frame, just yet.

     

    It is indeed on our list and moves up our internal backlog and as soon as time and progress are ripe, we will for sure show you what we have.

    thanks for your exemplary description of the problem...find attached an altered xml file for you to try. Backup the original file before replacing it with this one. If you come back to me confirming that it works, the new file will become part of the official next vdgs-driver package update through Aerosoft One.

    So for some reason the module was not able to identify the Munich airport package as being installed. As this "might" be related to the "AsDex Version mismatch" you are receiving downstream of this error I first want to find out what is causing the airport package not being recognized suspecting some corrupted install somewhere.

     

    So, can you please reattach a new log file from where you are loading into Munich airport and bring up the vdgs-driver user interface?

    what exactly do you mean by "not comparable"? Please attach your log file taken from the latest updated version.

    Currently we think the issue is indeed caused by the marketplace changing the package name..as a quick workaround you can open up the airport.xml file and alter the following attribute accordingly:

     

    packageName="simwings-airport-eddm-munich,aerosoft-airport-eddm-munich"

     

    This should make sure both packages are recognised by the vdgs driver.

     

    An official update to the xml via AO incorporating this adaptation shall follow in due time.

    Hi Alex:

    make sure that "Verbose=1" is set in your "aerosoft-vdgs-driver-log.ini" so that we actually get the full logging output, before loading the sim into EDDM trying to load up the vdgs. Afterwards, please attach your full "aerosoft-vdgs-driver-log.log" file which you can find in your aerosoft-vdgs-driver folder for us to review in here.

    es wird auf der Produktseite explizit darauf hingewiesen, dass es einige Limitationen gibt und man auf jeden Fall diesbezüglich vor dem Kauf das Handbuch anschauen soll. Da steht drin was das Produkt macht und was nicht:

    • As Simple Traffic only uses the default AI traffic models it is very well possible that a livery is displayed on an incorrect model. This is expected behavior.
    • Any modeling issues, lights etc., are all part of the AI traffic system of the simulator and cannot be changed by Simple Traffic

     

    ST bringt keine eigenen Modelle, sondern neue Liveries für die vorhandenen mit. Genau das ist einfach der Fokus des Produktes...von daher wird sich da auch nix ändern.
