  1. sorry if anyone got me wrong... i'm not going anywhere, just wanted to say this issue is behind us so i have nothing to add here :) that's all.

i love this project in spite of all the ups and downs, just wish i had more time to spend here...

  2. I have not read the C of C so in a way so am I!! I have to agree with henk on this as it's knit picking, boring and it obviouslly goes against the C of C. I think you just shot yourself in the foot on that one my friend... The best thing to do with this thread in my opinion is to delete it and lets all start afresh.

I think that deleting this post (which is very likely, as deleting all other evidances to wrong procedures) will only show that someone has something to hide :) anyway, this is my last response here, whomever needed to get the message probably have got it by now.

  3. So please stop this nonsense, and start selling plots

    regards Henk

By refering to other peoples opinions and comitment as "nonsense" you are breaking the Code of Coduct of respecting other people. Please edit your post or do not belong to this community. I wonder what drives you while looking for the excuses to get rid of this valueble "clearance".

  4. I post this in here, although some might say its the wrong place to put it, as it is NOT a sale, but please let me do this in here anyway.

The thing is. During the elections in the beginning of October, I was approached by Moshe, who indicated foul play, and accused me of not being transparent in the way I have handled certain things.

Moshe did not like that I got plot AF74 outside of the normal buying a plot procedure. He didnt like the fact that noone said welcome to me, when the plot was put up with my name on it either.

Moshe did not like, either, the fact that I used my status as a plot owner in Andras Field, as an active in my campaign for the job as President of the Owners Association.

Well the truth is that I spend my time as Airport Director in AF working for the community almost 24/7, and it seems that most were pretty happy with the way I worked.

The workload also had its advantages. One was that I talked with Aerosoft and Andras and secured a deal for a plot in the, at that time, bare strip down at AF70 and up. I did this without going through the normal channels of plot buying. This was no secret - it was never announced either, but the fact that my plot was never put up for sale, and suddenly appeared with my name on it - well I must admit that this spoke for itself. The fact that I WAS the Airport Director, and that I was FAR the most active guy in the board, well I figured people would put two and two together, and make 4 of it. I guess most did.

I did tell Aerosoft that I would of course pay the average price for my plot, but I was never charged. I guess that Aerosoft this way, tried to show that they also appreciated all the hours I put into my Airport Director post, and I was very grateful for that.

And noone DID welcome me to the Airpark. partly, I guess, because I was the one who welcomed people to the place, as the president of the owners association did not for some reason. and partly, I guess, exactly because it was not a normal sale, and so the welcoming was forgotten by Mathijs, who did welcome people also....

But the accusations has taken all the fun out of it. Its no fun to have a plot I have being accused of foul play, to get, and so now I take the consequence of that feeling.

There is absolutely no doubt that the plot IS mine. And therefore there were of course, no problems with my using the fact, when I ran for the president of the owners association post.

There is absolutely no doubt that the plot is mine, and therefore I can do with as I please. I have therefore decided that I will give the plot away.

I have asked Matt Smith - our Event Director if he would like to have it, and he has accepted. I have then asked Andras to change the name on the sign in front of plot AF74, and told Andras that the plot now belongs to Matt. Matt is very active in the Andras Field Community, and in the Andras Aviation Club, and this, in this case, has its advantages.

I have given the plot to Matt - for free, so no sale is included in this transaction - just for the record, and so noone can accuse Matt of foul plan in the way he obtained it. Owned plots can be resold - or given away, as the owner pleases, and this I have. Matt has accepted that he also takes over my job in the Andras Aviation Club - I mention this just to make sure that the transparency is complete, and so noone will come later and say - "why didnt you say that?"

And the other thing - the welcoming of a new plot owner - this shall not be forgotten in this case either, and so I state the following.

As president of the Owners Association - I welcome you Matt Smith, to the Plotholders circle. I hope you will enjoy the plot AF74, far more than I have. Its a good place and it deserves to be liked.

Paint and wallpaper is in the closet in the basement. Please make it personal. :)

I hope noone has any objections to this transaction, as the transparency, I hope, is 100 pct here.

Only thing that remains is this.

I am now no longer a plotholder in Andras Field, and even though its not written anywhere that the President of the Owners Association needs to be a plotholder - I ask if anyone feels that I am no longer qualified to be the president of the owners association.

IF - then please reply to this, and I shall step down.

    Have a nice weekend.

OOPPSSSS....... Just saw this post today  sorry about it.

Dear Ole - Case is closed.

BTW - you are not alone for not being welcomed, no one welcomed me as well. I guess that while Aerosoft did not mean to sell it to me (there was a missunderstanding there) they were not very happy that I took it. So instead of welcoming they wrote "Plot AF06 was occupied by Mr. Moshe Mizrahi" and that was it. Ugly indeed, and at that point I generated the process of creating our Code of Conduct, looking for some integrity that will keep the project stable.

Anyway, nature rules are stonger than any missleading and as we saw "putting icing on mud does not make it a cake" (bear in mind Aerosoft).

I appreciate your move Ole, although all that was required is from AEROSOFT to step forward and say "we appreciate the 24/7 from Ole and gave him one plot as a present, let's welcome him together". That would have done the job. Now you can have my plot if you want :) just let me know if you want it and I will ask Andras to replace the signs

  5. Hi Oliver,

Just purchased Armi Project – VTBS-FSX 2010 from Simmarket and noticed the AES configurator did not detect it. Acording to 2.07 list I know the FS9 version is supposed to be supported and the FSX should be "in progress". Am I right? or is it supported and I am doing something wrong?

One more question please - If I have 2.08, do I need the jetways fix published for 2.07?

    Thanks a lot!

    Moshe

  6. I did get in contact with you David, and I am very sorry, but I still didn't manage to contact any of the instructors. I will keep on trying, but in the meanwhile, feel free to fly at the VAE flight school, I am sure they have better instructors which do answer emails! My apologies, I will keep on trying to reach them

How about using this new product: PPL Course

and following what is suggested below:

SPECIAL NOTE FOR AIRCLUBS: If you wish this course in your own airfield or with your own planes, please contact the autor

to create our "customized automated flight school" that does not need instructors availability, can be taken from EAFS and be flown under our aircraft and painting? looks cool to me.

  7. there's guys using offensive call signs. Foul language and inappropriate conversations. One guy there even thinks that being a drunk is something to aspire to.

    Hi David,

With any specific information I think you can read our CoC here and approach the Board of AF here. You may also share it with us if you feel the need. I'm sure Aerosoft can supply the AF Board with the ability to trace relevant IP addresses and back up the CoC.

There was another note earlier regarding people corrupting the list of desired customized repaints, not sure what was done there, maybe you want to check it out.

  8. Thank you Ole for your detailed reply and advice. Today I finished installing the new set, and it functions very good.

As for the Saitek vs. CH, I am using CH for about 4 years now and I am pleased with them, I wanted a change as well as an upgrade, I thing the Saitek are more pro stuff and the feeling is more realistic. I kept my CH Pro Throttle, replaced the yoke and pedals (they are a spare set now) and added the 3 panels. I configured everything in FSX, deleting the default settings and reassigning the new ones, taking under consideration I already have the OOB settings of the panels. I did not fill all the buttons of the whole set, still have some free ones on the CH Pro and I feel I have all I need at hand, the others can be dealed with the keyboard as they are not commonly used. I am happy I pushed you to enjoy better your switching panel!

Saitek has a configurator program that can assign keys to buttons but I did not use it as I had all I need in the FSX controls menu. For backup, I kept the standard.xml files, that should recover a mess if happens. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Saitek and the setup was still there, so I guess it's fine.

As for FSUIPC, Pete does a great job indeed, I remember disabling the controllers from FSX so I did not remove each and every assignment, the controllers just jumped into enabled with no warning... I do not think it was FSUIPC, but something with the whole setup was not stable or I did something wrong.

    I am attaching a photo from today's setup :)

  9. Thanks Matt. Acually what I want to do is replace only my CH yoke and pedals, keeping my CH excellent throttle, and combine it with all the system so I get one free axis in the Saitek throttle. I can set it to handle something else available with the FSX menu. My past experience with setting everything via FSUIPC is to be not so stable, because sometimes is used to enable the CH controllers back in FSX with no reason... so evantually I gave up and went back to configure all the CH products via FSX. Maybe with the Saitek via the FSUIPC rather than CH my system will be stable, have no idea...

  10. Yours are sure better than mine  Actually, so much better that due to some common components you mostly use I decided to upgrade my cockpit as well :P

So now I am asking for your advice please.

I have puchased the Seitek set including yoke, throttle, pedals and 3 panels: radio, multi and switches. I would appreciate any tip or advice of how to correctly configure (as to the manuals all should be plug and play) and how to customize in a way I can save the configuration as a whole (file?) so it will not mees up when I disconnect and reconnect the units...

In short, any tip or tweak will be highly appreciated :excl:

    Thank you!

  11. Thanks Bernhard, I appreciate your post. Actually Ole was among the first ones to know we are expecting a baby :) we happened to talk about our families and I could not hide it even though it was still a secret from our friends here  so I like Ole, it's not the issue. The issue is that while I spend my time here I feel comitted to this project, and sometimes the way I see the values of integrity and comitment can come on the account of another value, maybe important as well, like personal friendship. So it's a conflict, but my comitment to a transparent and empowering clearance in AF won this time... I'm done anyway, so a break is ok :)

  12. You edited your post, even though I never asked that of you - but wrote in your edit that I had suggested you did. This was not true Moshe.

For me getting a note that "your post is very bad" and that "your posting otherwise will only stir up things and have people feel there must be something "fishy" going on - which there is not" is not only a request to edit, it's begging to remove it, and please do not forget you thanked me for doing so ;) Anyway, here it is back once again, so you have no reason to go against it now, and no, it's nothing personal, sorry to break this line of defense ;)

  13. Of course it is not consistent, Ole, it's the same "playing innocent" I wrote to you in my PM. I do not talk about Brouce because he, unlike you, did not put himself to represt those "fighting" for a plot. You sneaked the line, most probably able to due to your position (btw all other board members did fight for it) and of course no one welcomed you in the main AF webpage, very consistent with sneaking the line. So yes, I appreciate the time you spend here but I think it is not consistent, to say the least. Just to make one point - nothing here is personal, but I think these kind of "holes" in the AF leadership INTEGRITY do not contribute to the general support this project gets. And about comparing to Andras... you must be joking, right?

  14. What would Andras Field be without the people who put their money in houses? Just another scenery in the heaps of them. WE are the ones who creates the drive - and when I say WE, I do not only mean the current plotholders, but most importantly also the ones who fight for a home of their own here, every weekend in the plot sales, and I also mean all those who are yet to discover the great place that Andras Field is, and who will join us in the quest for a home here.

    Hi Ole,

I do not think you can run for this position and use the above, as I do not recall the bid that you took part in and won, and I also do not remember your plot put up for sale. If I am wrong, please correct me and supply the link to the bid on your plot.

    Thanks,

    Moshe

  15. Hello Matt,

Could we have the liveries you make as public for download, so if let's say I want to fly the stock 172 offline with the club livery and I do not mind the tail number, I can use the ready ones, and this way also people can have an option of more than one plane... does this sound logical?

    Thanks,

    Moshe

  16. Below is a list of how German aircraft registrations work. You get the choice of the latter 3 letters. Obviously the 1st letter of the prefix is dependent on aircraft weight. Dont worry Ill work that bit out for you. As a side note D-*OLE and D-*MAT are all reserved  A first come first served basis

If you want the Carenado C172N you will be able to get that a lot quicker.

Thank you Matt for this great work! This is maybe the most beautiful livery I have seen for GA, I love it

On a second come second served basis, please reserve all D-*MSM

    Thanks a lot!
