We had hidden two small hints in the last screenshots of Oslo. No one had found it well; one clue was also difficult to discover the next mega airport will be none other than the largest German airport - EDDF Frankfurt. Under the direction of Jo Erlend and Lukas (Head of the internal airport dev team), we have been working with a team of 7 on the MSFS implementation for several months. Here are a few impressions from the ongoing development.

I know it is one of the issues that will be looked at in the pending update. When you say, " Of course, a small amount of hysteresis is to be expected, but not at the magnitude shown by the CRJ simulation. " is that based on real-world experience? As far as I know, how it is now is pretty much as it should be, but as said, it will be looked at. Any solid information it is not would help us a lot.

That is always possible, but very hard to predict. The only way to be sure is to start removing things one by one and that is a royal pain in the neck.

Mmmmm, most of the work is on fixing issues. From an incorrect symbol on the MCDU to much bigger things. Basically, everything is there, and we are just going down the list. Always a weird period, on one hand, you are looking at that loooong list of open issues; on the other hand, it is very nice to see the status of issues going from 'confirmed' to 'pending update' to 'to be tested' to 'resolved'.
On me rests the task of deciding what issues are stopping a release, what we can 'get away with', what would be nice to have, and what needs to be in the first service pack.
The only 'big' thing is getting the VNAV hooked up to the autopilot and FADEC. In principle, it is not complex, but it requires hundreds of hours of testing to ensure it follows the data points we have.

Many people love modeled cabin and I understand to not modeling regarding to performance, but not everyone is limited by perfomance (or optimalization as such) and many people would very appreciate modeled cabin. And we understands it is some extra work so we would pay some bucks for it. (At least that ppl which I talked about it)
Thanks for reply!We have discussed this many times and explained why the release will not include a full cabin. Adding one at this moment would push the release back 14 weeks.
So let's put this topic to bed.

we'll have another look, but the photos we made are colour corrected, and we have used the colours from those images. If the videos you saw do not use a correct white balance (and many, many other things), those colours are not as they should be. Btw the exact colour also changes rather a lot with brightness settings. At low brightness is if a deep orange, at max brightness it is far more yellow.

Not sure what you exactly mean, but FSX aircraft will not work in MSFS. Never will.

CDPLC - yes it was asked, but there is a standard, old as it is, via Hoppies. This is what all other add-ons and all controllers on VATSIM use. So in a way, it is a standard. Is it still the case that it will not include any integration on the release?
Might be that my shortcomings are not helping me find the answers if already given, so sorry if all was answered before.
Being worked on, but I am not sure if it makes the first release for the first three items.
CPLDC remains complex, we have supported Hoppie in P3D but had massive support demands with that. The main online ATC organisations are still discussing a more solid backend, we will for now await news on that. If that shows little progress Hoppie comes back into view.

False entitlement won't get you very far in life.
I will tell you honestly that I am also flabbergasted by some people's reactions regarding this. However, it is not worthwhile to spend time on this. So let's all stop explaining how incorrect this is. If people feel that we are doing things wrong, they can simply not buy the product (and then why post here?), if they think it is easy, I would love to invite them to start working in this field because the people doing it now are finding it pretty complex and time-consuming.
Lastly, if you find it hard to learn about a product and see images of it without being able actually to buy it, simply ignore this forum section. I am sure you will learn about the release via other means.

Again, I find it very hard to understand why people vote a post like this down. What could possibly be wrong with this? This is toxic behaviour, and it stops right now. If you have an issue with something this innocent, you take the time to explain why or do nothing.
I discussed this before and have given warnings. These warnings will now be accompanied by a temporary ban.

No idea; we'll have to see at the release and then decide if we will update the products. Sales for P3D are almost zero at this moment to be honest.
