  1. Yes,i try to load correct C&D panel few time with restart FSX.I use you suggest and only select default aircraft as a default flight and TURN OFF ENGINE then choose katana can be correct load C&D panel.

    But strange is in 1.01 i always using katana as a default aircraft to began first fly in first time,and always load cold&dark in correct.

    Just mentioned select default aircraft to enter C&D procedure really bother for me,so i will use quick setup panel to turn into C&D.

    And what is "initiation window"?? Is quick setup panel? Has mentioned in document.

  2. I notice since 1.02 INITIATION MODE can't get correct.i choice cold&dark,but only two situation panel happen,1. power on,avionics on,engine on. 2.power on,avionics on. Does anyone happened?

    And i saw 1.02 history list,has "[NEW] The initiation window shall appear also if the Katana is default aircraft. A button 'none' will close the window without selection",this mean quick setup will appear with if choice da20 to default aircraft to began fly??

    But in my situation quick setup not appear with choice da20 to default aircraft...?

  3. Since 1.01 i notice this bug?

    Sometime during check oil or open oil access door then click close. Oil access door can't get full close even i reload aircraft or use AIRFRAME to repair still remain this condition,and i try to click OIL ACCESS DOOR button again then can not move this door with open or close.

  4. Yes, because you obviously did not apply pitot heat as you should have done.

    Pitot heat is an anti-ice measure, NOT a de-ice measure and is applied whenever the risk of pitot icing is expected. So the low level heat from the pitot heating system may simply not have enough heat to quickly melt the accumulation, so you may have to wait some time.

    This aircraft is about consequences, and you are now experiencing that.

    Also the aircraft is NOT certified for flight in icing conditions, so if you have found yourself in a wing icing situation you would normally land as soon as possible. Consequences, you see?

    Finally, you did suck on the pitot tube to clear it as part of the pre-flight checks? If not, you may have a physically blocked port and the ice may have nothing to do with it, nor will any amount of pitot heat clear it (and indeed could present a fire hazard).

    Consequences.... ;)

    Haha,i hear da20 can't fly in icing condition because not have De-ice device from my friend.

    About restore instrument,i was read you post explanation,and it's re-work by "crack it",but only IAS still stuck ,i guess pilot-tube still suck with snow day.

    Anyway this aircraft really good.Even in cockpit can be fog...

  5. Pitot heat will restore the instruments in time. This is standard fare and not exclusive to the Katana X but is covered in detail in the accompanying manuals which you MUST spend time with if you are to operate this aircraft correctly.

    I was read manual before,you mean instruments can be restore by cabin heat in time? But i waiting about 5min without no ice on leading edge then instrument still freeze. ?

  6. I was fly in unalaska area with snow weather(not sure is normal),climb to about 2000ft temp was drop -2c ,then i notice IAS altitude v/s indicator was feeeze and has some ice build in leading edge.

    And ice was dissolved by descent low altitude,but how to recover those indicator in flight?

    I notice in V/S and RPM indicator can click "crack indicator glass",what function it is?

  7. 1 How can make sure OIL was drain to empty(in realistic mode)? Use dipstick was only saw "flat area" then can't not sure was in empty. And i found only saw OIL condition in instructor mode.

    2 If Oil was in empty condition then how many tank need to refill? Is 3.2cans to refill?

    3 And which different between in SAE20 and SAE40?

    4 What moments is save DA20 condition,is end flight? or end FSX? ,because sometime my fsx get error....

  8. I was got more fun on this glider,but i not good on glider.

    I read manual has few question,glider can get more altitude by circle fly in Thermal.

    But which instrumentation can determine i was in Thermal,is "Tendency arrow up" in C4?

    And about instrument "WINTER and VARIO (Variometer)" is such as V/S?
