  2. Michael I tried two flights - one with WX and one without. Without WX the airplane was rock solid at FL370. The flight with WX saw the oscillations return in ALT hold - if this info is of any help.
  3. Also experiencing this oscillating problem in altitude hold. especially when the aircraft is light.
  4. Bought the DC 8 last week and also had this problem after updating with the update tool. The above fix has now sorted it out. Thanks Michael Trevor
  5. Just purchased the DC8. I have spent a number of hours studying the plane and am beginning to thoroughly enjoy it. Getting the airplane engines going from cold and dark was a huge hurdle for me to clear, but after spending time I have fully mastered it and can do it with confidence. From paging through numerous realworld aircraft manuals I can see just how accurate everything is - well done and my sincere thanks to the developer (I believe it's Michael). I have also managed, after spending a few hours, to master the fuel system. Now my two suggestions if I may: 1. Could you please add a tooltip so when you move the mouse over the IAS gauge and the Mach speed gauge that you get an actual speed/mach read-out. 2. The engine thrust, at slower speeds below M0.6, is too much. The plane climbs too quickly, according to the manuals I have, below 20 000 feet. Could the thrust in this area be decreased somewhat ? Above 20 000 feet the climb speeds appear to match the manuals. Once again, thank you. This plane has increased the enjoyment of my hobby (especially now during lockdown!!). Regards Trevor

Pressing the button on the throttles only gives the TO TO message on the PFD but the FD does not give vertical guidance (pitch stays 0 degrees) If I use the keyboard (Ctrl+Shift+G), then I get the TO TO displayed and the FD gives vertical pitch guidance (12-15 degrees). On reaching V2+10 I push the SPD mode on the glareshield and the message on the PFD changes from TO TO to TO ALTS instead of giving me CLB and speed. I then have to disengage the FD, re-engage it and press SPD mode and then it works Regards Trevor
  7. There are still a number of issues with this plane eg. #1 FD on takeoff. TO TO is set but when I push SPD mode at V2+10, it does not engage #2 plane struggles to following HDG changes in HDG mode at low speeds (especially on approach) and there could be others that I am not aware of yet. Hence my question: Can we expect another update some time to fix these issues? Trevor
  8. I have noticed that on the OHD panel in the A320, the engine #2 bleed air is in the OFF position. It also shows this on the ECAM page. I deleted all my MS redistr. files and only re-installed the 2015-2019 package and the 2010 package. That solved the problem. BUT I have since installed PMDG 747v3 and now the problem is back. The PMDG installation appears to have added two more MS redistr. files - 2013 and 2015. What do I do now? Can I uninstall the 2013 and 2015 files BUT then they may be required for the PMDG 747? Using MS FSX-SE. Please advise. Thanks
