schmiko 17
There are big V1 Vr V2 Differences between LoadManager and MCDU. Airbus: A321 IAE (Lufthansa) Loadmanager Load sheet // MCDU Total weight 84.646 kg (maximum weight) // 82.300 kg Fuel load 18.726 kg // 18.700 kg V1 128 // 155 Vr 148 // 160 V2 153 // 162 With this ToW it is nearly impossible to start at airport EDDN, runway 28/10 with 2.694 meter length, because the runway is to short or the A321 to slow . gergui 21
I noticed your takeoff sheet wasn't filled out either. I don't believe both systems will display the same information right out of the gate. Try completely filling out the sheet, do the FMS flow in order, then see if it still gives you a difference. You didn't allow the Load Manager's calculator to add in temperature/runway condition variables etc.
schmiko 17
The completed filled out data sheet doesn't changed anything, because off the low temperature OAT and QNH the results are less than before: Loadmanager Load sheet // MCDU V1 122 // 155 Vr 140 // 160 V2 147 // 162 But my main problem are the long long distance for takeoff, EDDN with its runway 28/10 with 2.694 meter lengthis nearly to short to start with the heavy A321 IAE Regards Joerg
cbd80 258
I have noticed this too and it has been noted. I believe the Load Manager values to be more accurate. Are you using FLX or TOGA. If FLX, what temp? Typically for an airfield like EDDN it should be around 60-65 degrees. Chris
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted September 10, 2010 Aerosoft Share Posted September 10, 2010 The MCDU does not have the same information (like runway length etc) as the external program but the differences are indeed surprising. We'll put the two calculations next to each other and see.
