Maxrouter2 2
Can someone explain how to know what takeoff power to set whether it be toga or man flex?

Maxrouter2 2
Well I'm flying the a320, calm weather, quite heavy with 14000kg of fuel. So does the weight determine whether it should be toga or if your light mean a man flex power?
Maxrouter2 2
So do I decide what power to set myslef based on my conditions or is there something in the fmc that tells me what power to set?
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted August 9, 2017 Aerosoft Share Posted August 9, 2017 I would start by reading the manuals and flying the step-by-step flight, a lot of your questions will be explained there. But basically FLEX is just used to lower wear/tear and noise.
musefan 363
As a general rule, I usually use TOGA when I'm pretty heavy and Flex when I'm light. I could be wrong, but I don't think the difference between the 2 modes are actually simulated on the Aerosoft buses. I'm open to correction on that though.
