Marc W. 0
Already? An official release? Or a beta? MS has shipped the official version to business customers some time ago ... The private customer version is due in February, I believe. Anyway, back to topic: Anybody knows, when MS plans to release the FSX DX10 patch? thanks! Manny 41
"Late next year" or "Later next year"? There is difference. "Later next year" could be Late next year or maybe not... it could also mean..merley later than the SP1. Manny
Snave 466
"Late next year" or "Later next year"? There is difference. "Later next year" could be Late next year or maybe not... it could also mean..merley later than the SP1. Manny As I understand it, they've barely begun the process, as they were waiting for production DX10 hardware to appear - they had looked at early benchtest Nvidia cards but they weren't reliable enough in pre-production form. Now that they have had to commit to producing the patch for the existing problems, that date may well slip further. After all, there's no point patching FSX to DX10, when it is the PATCHED version that will form the basis for the DX10 conversion... and that won't appear until around February time. Plus, you also need to know thyat DX10.1 will be released around the middle of 2007, so it would absolutely no sense to release a patch for DX10 which then needed modifying later for DX10.1. It will be at least Autumn next year...
