detheridge02 0
The latest PFPX update is triggering alerts in Bitdefender: The web resource http://5.35.249.58/connect/request.php has been detected as infected. Dave
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted May 9, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 9, 2015 Hi Dave, as far as I see it in WireShark PFPX receives it's track and weather data from that URL. Looking into the received data I don't see anything strange. Especially as PFPX fully loads it's track and weather data. If the URL was infected I would assume PFPX would fail to read the data from the received data. But I am sure FlightSimSoft can shed some light on this by checking their server. Flying Penguin 17
Just to chip in, it's not a problem unique to Dave. My Bitdefender is flagging it too.

Flying Penguin 17
Coincidentally, it's also started flagging REX Essentials + OD servers, which went down yesterday. Coincidence? Possibly, but it's odd.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted May 10, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 10, 2015 So as it is a problem of Bitdefender and not PFPX, we can close this one.
