abh_jc_03 0
I have read the forum on how to set up my saitek rhino x 55 throttle. I have done everything. My stick moves in the cockpit but nothing happens with the throttles. I went into the aerosoft launcher and tried setting that up as well but nothing seems to work. It's hard to fly when the throttles don't work. Help please.
wingnut 60
Hello; Did you use the Airbus configurator,to set up your joystick for the aircraft,it has selections there for throttles, how many are on your joystick. Mark
abh_jc_03 0
I just set the ailerons and elevator with the stick. I chose on the throttle configure each axis for a throttle. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to let it sit in the virtual hangar. Right now I have controls set the same in fsx controls. I'm stumped. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted April 26, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted April 26, 2015 As I also use the x55 and have no problem, did you run the FSX as Administrator? And, btw. the launcher is not intended to be used for throttle setup in this case. Do you use Saitek's drivers? If so, try it without them. abh_jc_03 0
I've done the FSUIPC tutorial and ini editing. Still no luck. I didn't install the drivers. Just plugged into USB ports and fly. It recognizes in FSUIPC when I move each throttle separately. I'll keep trying.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted April 26, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted April 26, 2015 Did you run everything as Adminsitrator: FSX, Airbus, and the configurator?

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted April 27, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted April 27, 2015 There should be a link under Start/Proramms/Aerosoft.... or you open it from the Product folder under FSX/Aerosoft/Airbus....
abh_jc_03 0
I have looked under both areas and there is no icon for aerosoft configurator. Only Aerosoft Launcher.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted May 2, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 2, 2015 Start -> Programs -> Aerosoft -> Airbus -> Airbus A318-319 (or Airbus A320-321) -> Aerosoft.Airbus.X. Configurator
abh_jc_03 0
I searched everywhere but couldn't find it. I uninstalled and then re installed and found it. My throttle is set to 2 axis. FSUIPC is set up correctly, when I open aerosoft launcher and go to configure joystick, it has the axis already visible in X and Y axis so it recognizes it. I was able to get it to move in the cockpit but only from all the way back to just idle, no further. I am getting closer. Any more suggestions?
