Dimon 3
Guys, I'm just wondering if AS EFHK has native P3D2.X installer. Moving forward from FS2004, so I have neved had FSX, therefore EMT is not a solution for me. Thank you in advance
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 27, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 27, 2015 Why isn't EMT not a solution for you? It sets up a "virtual" FSX, regardless if there is an FSX installed or not. If FSX is installed, it "deactivates" it (I guess by renaming folders). Dimon 3
Tom, how to create virtual FSX? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 27, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 27, 2015 The Estonia Migration Tool does this for you. Just check their website. I thought you knew it, as you mentioned it in your first post. http://www.flightsim.ee/products/migration-tool
Dimon 3
Ok, thanks. I didn't realize that it's payware. Hope AS would upgrade the installers
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 27, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 27, 2015 I wouldn't wait for that. They have already clearly stated not to touch all the old sceneries (100+) to make them compatible with P3D v2. There is actually more than just the installer... http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/80363-runway-apprachlight-issue-in-p3d-2x-the-background
Dimon 3
Too bad,. Very lovely product according to screenshots. Tom - have you personally installed EFHK into P3D via EMT? Is it stable? Thanks again.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 27, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 27, 2015 No, but from my experience with all other sceneries I wouldn't expect any problems other than the runway lights.
Dimon 3
You mean there will be no nighttime runway lighting in P3D if the scenery wasn't adopted?
