mvillada 0 Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 When I am flying to the alternate airport after a go around and missed approach procedure at the destination and enable alternate has been selected the lateral navigation goes well but I have not found a way to program the vertical navigation. I tried to enter a new cruise altitude on the progress page but it does not accept any entries so I cannot revert to cruise page on the performance page. This page remains in approach phase and after a while goes to descent page but it does not calculate a new descent for the alternate from a new cruise altitude. The only way I could fly the aircraft was in selected modes (speed and open climb) .Anyone could share any thoughts on how to program the vertical navigation feature for the alternate or it is not modelled on this version at all. thanks in advance and happy flights.
