Eduard,

WAAS stands for Wide Area Augmentation System and a WAAS is a type of non-ILS approach that provides navigation assistance with a WAAS-enabled GPS unit. It would appear to be a type of RNAV approach and it would also appear the A320 can have an WAAS GPS united added, but I don't know if it's standard on the A320 family.

If it's close to any other RNAV approach you should be able to fly it in the AXE just fine using the Non-Precision approach techniques outlined in the Step-by-Step guide (Vol. 6 of the AXE documentation).

For more info on these approaches, here are a few resources I've found:

Best of luck and I'd be interested to hear your results,

- Caleb

mmh... yeah, but this is not related to the Airbus in any way, so I will move your post elsewhere...
