Had a major problem with the built in fuel planner i ran a flight from edinburgh to gatwick with the 737 NGX short flight and i almost ran out of fuel had about 1000kg to spare :( do i have to add more fuel in the fuel options? I thought it done it all for you?

I have one for NXG -800 winglet as its the only one I use. Modified it to match PMDGs configuration.

For iFly 737 NG's , PFPX calculations are pretty accurate , if ;

- The loads are close to each other

- The weather at sim is close to the weather data PFPX used for calculations

So I assume NGX calculations will be nearly accurate too . Did you checked your plan and actual payload , did you updated the weather of your simulator to RW WX with built in WX or using an add-on like ActiveSky ?

Also the suggestions above for adjusting the bias is true , if after a (wx + payload) match between the operational flight plan and simulator you have to check your result , after then you may need to adjust your aircraft's fuel figures from PFPX.

Check PFPX Aircraft Database and use "Aircraft From Template" , then you will see the PMDG NGX templates , use them for creating a new aicraft . There you will see the bias values as %103 ( iFly values are %108) . You can then safely increase the value to for example %105 or %110 . But before editing your aircraft values go for a payload and weather match .

Safe flights
