3catcircus 0
I'm currently using V1.13 and have been running into some issues during ETOPS planning. I've tried several aircraft (777, 767, A330) and am running into a problem with the ETOPS 120 scenario for any example flight from KJFK - LIMC, or KJFK - EGLL or KJFK - LFPG. I'll choose the KJK - LIMC example. It'll identify KJFK, CYQI, CYQY, CYYT, EIKY, LFRK, LSGS, and CYQX. Obviously, in the 120 scenario, you can't get from Canada to Ireland and meet the requirements. If I manually select CYQX, BIKF and EIKY pairs, it won't show as valid, as per this screen shot: Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? becas 53
The box is hiding a crucial part because it seems to me that you are not within 120min to an alternate betwen CYYT and EIKY
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted April 14, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted April 14, 2014 Also, you should update to the latest version 1.
dougsnow 50
ETOPS120 circles dont cross over the North Atlantic. You gotta have a mid atlantic alternate (BIKF if North, LPLA if youre south); 138 circles cross if youre using EINN and CYQX/CYYT.
