Taxi clearance was granted as the plane taxied to short of runway 03R via taxiway D Entering into taxiway D to taxi to short of runway 03R Holding short of runway 03R waiting for some Greek airline plane to land Entering into runway 03R for take off Airborne passing Rafina suburb on climb to FL350 via VARIX departure Battling heavy thunderstorm rain Making right turn toward VARIX during the climb to FL350 Positioning to intercept VARIX to head to RDS via UL995 Cruising at FL350 across Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea Cruising along UL995 can be FUN as this route passes through lots of Greek islands as seen on this plane passing view of island of Syros, its city Ermoupoli, and its airport Syros National Airport "Demetrius Vikelas" Greek island waters can be pretty Cruising at FL350 Passing island of Kos and its Kos Island International Airport or "Hippocrates" airport Intercepting RDS where you can see below island of Rhodes and its two airports Diagoras Rhodes International Airport and Rhodes Maritsa Airport Finished with intercepting RDS and then headed to Israel via UL609 and G18 across Mediterranean sea If you do not know when it is time to start descending for LLBG airport, just look for island of Cyprus on your left and sight of the island will signal time for descent!! Nice sunset!!! Sunset is getting more gorgeous!! OH NO OH NO LLBG airport controllers radioed ahead to me warning me of powerful snowstorm looming ahead!! Look at threatening clouds!! Darn now running into snowstorm during descent through clouds On final approach to runway 08 Seconds before touchdown on runway 08 TOUCHDOWN!!!!!! Braking down crossing runway 12/30 Backtracking on runway 08 to save taxi time Taxiing to gate entering into taxiway K from runway 08 Approaching gate More planes arriving!!
