Support overload. We are currently seeing 65% more demand for support then we normally see. We can only assume this is because more people are at home due to the corona crises. Our complete support staff is online and they are working flat out, but it will take some days before we can scale up resources. Please be patient.

Dry or Wet Runway Data in FMGC

Recommended Posts

My apologies if this question is considered silly or unimportant - but as I'm relatively new to the "Bus" I wanted to ask:

Is there provision in the FMGC to enter in Runway conditions eg: Dry or Wet?

Or, is this calculated separately outside the FMGC?

(I checked the Vol 6 Step by Step Manual - but didn't see any mention of it in there).

Thanks,

Steve

IRL wet/contaminated runway calculation is performed outside the FMGCs with a performance calculation program.

In real life: Do you calculate V-speeds using a program (as in, software), or do you use those tables in FCOM?
