vonmar 8
Hello, Approach waypoints for Quality Wings I will do a screenshot. This is EGLL ILS 27 approach on the left. Edited: On the right is Quality wings. We end up North of the airport? PeterW 23
Hi Vaughan, for ILS 27 you should end up east of the airport, yes. But perhaps that's not what you meant? vonmar 8
I went back and edited the direction ... Should have said North of the ILS. The error was because of the way I posted the screenshot and took right side of JPG as east ... which was wrong. The correct approach should be an "S-curved path" ... not a zig-zag line ... Edit, I checked iFly and it was good .. if you need a screenshot of iFly I can get one. PeterW 23
So the problem you are reporting is that it does not give you a S shaped path? vonmar 8
The approach path takes you North of the ILS centerline ... way off the normal approach. Then you have to fly back like 240 degree e.g. to get onto the ILS. In my screenshot you end up at the rightmost waypoint .... way past the ILS. Emi 5162
The problem is that the waypoint behind TR098 seems to be to far offset. The RJ will never draw curved lines, that's not the problem. vonmar 8
The problem is not that the RJ's line is not a curve. The problem is the waypoint is North of the airport's ILS ... the RJ should never enter that airspace. PeterW 23
Is this a screenshot from the QW Avro? Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/69019-approach-waypoints-for-quality-wings/#findComment-492367 Share on other sites
vonmar 8
Yes. Also, I am not just posting a screenshot of the static display. I actually flew the route and discovered the waypoint was way off the normal course. I actually ended up flying back to the ILS on LNAV .... LNAV followed my screenshot.
